The Millennial Task Force develops outreach campaign like BFRB Awareness Week
The Millennial Task Force is a group of people who work together to develop outreach and educational campaigns designed to engage their peers -- the next generation of BFRB community leadership and advocates. The task force specifically create initiatives that raise awareness about BFRBs, grow TLC's membership base, and provide networking and advocacy opportunities for both the BFRB community and the general public.

Millennial Task Force members are high-level representatives of TLC. The task force manages a BFRB advice column, creates educational materials and campaigns (such as  BFRB Awareness Week), and coordinates annual conference activities.

The task force is advised by TLC staff and a parent advisor, and frequently interacts with TLC leadership, in a supportive and encouraging environment. Members develop skills in communications, media and community organizing, public speaking, leadership and team-building. Members are encouraged to be creative and utilize writing, graphic design, photography, and video production skills too.

Task Force membership is a one-year commitment; the term runs from April to April of each year. Task Force members are non-compensated volunteers who commit to 10-15 hours per month of service.
